Returns & Refunds Policy
At Nooka Living, we want every piece you choose for your home to arrive as expected and be enjoyed with confidence.
This Returns & Refunds Policy is designed in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund if your product:
- Is faulty or defective
- Is significantly different from its description
- Does not do what it is supposed to do
- Arrives damaged, where Nooka Living or our delivery partner is responsible
- Has a major failure
You are also entitled to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Change of Mind
Please choose carefully before placing your order.
Nooka Living does not offer refunds, returns or exchanges for change-of-mind purchases. This includes where you:
- Ordered the wrong size, colour or style
- Decided the item does not suit your home or space
- Found the item at a lower price elsewhere
- No longer require the product
Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives and before assembling or using the product.
If your item arrives damaged, faulty, defective, or you receive the wrong product, please contact us as soon as possible at olivia@nooka.com.au.
To help us resolve your claim quickly, please provide:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photographs of the product, packaging and any damage
We will assess your claim and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law. This may include a repair, replacement or refund.
Major Failures
If a product has a major failure, you may choose a refund or replacement, or keep the product and receive compensation for any reduction in value, as provided under the Australian Consumer Law.
A major failure includes situations where the product:
- Is unsafe
- Is significantly different from its description or sample
- Is substantially unfit for its intended purpose and cannot easily be fixed
- Has a problem that would have stopped you purchasing it had you known about it
Returns Process
If you believe your item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, please contact us before returning your order.

Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.
If your claim is approved, we will provide instructions for returning the item where required.
Items That Have Been Assembled or Used
Please inspect all furniture and homewares before assembly.
Unless required under the Australian Consumer Law, we cannot accept returns for products that have been assembled, installed, used, damaged after delivery, or are not returned in their original condition.
Refunds
Once your returned item has been received and assessed, we will notify you of the outcome.
If a refund is approved, it will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.
